Prior to starting at Peninsula Kids I have held various leading roles for more than 20 years. These included being a group tour leader for an Inbound Tourism company, organising and managing tour groups visiting New Zealand. Once I started in the Early Childhood sector I completed my Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) at the Auckland University of Technology. During my studies I gained a deep understanding of how children learn and how we can best support them. I have enjoyed leading roles as Head Teacher in Babies room as well as Head Teacher in the over 2s area. Your dog’s day is split up between morning play and afternoon play. Mornings are full of high-energy play, allowing your dog to get all the sillies out of their system.
Not only will your dog get lots of physical exercise, but they’ll get plenty of mental stimulation too. They’ll have the chance to burn off their energy in a safe and secure environment, keeping their bodies and their brains fit and healthy. All good things must come to an end, though, and you can pick up your dog at the end of the day. Our carers will bring your dog to you in reception and give you a quick rundown of their day and any feedback they may have. Throughout the day, you’ll receive regular photo/video updates in your Customer Portal to stay updated with all the fun.
