He’s still as strange as ever, finding new ways to contort his voice. On “Cars Bring Me Out,” a typical display of chemistry with Future, Thugger forgoes melody but keeps the autotune, giving his vocals a warbly, uncanny valley sheen. He’s as experimental as ever with flow, mimicking Project Pat on “Money On The Dresser;” on the Lil Uzi Vert-assisted “Hellcat Kenny,” Thug squirms against the minimal production, sinking into a heavy-lidded, mealymouthed delivery. “Uncle M” features some of his most quietly outlandish vocal work,  beginning with autotuned whistling and continuing into the quavering hook.
I mostly draw ’em in and program everything according to my piano rolls. I’ll add compression and sound processing as I’m going – I like to know what the track is gonna sound like before I end it. It honestly feels like I'm witnessing some dystopian Orwell event where the masses all listen to the exact same song over and over again and are completely satisfied. Do people not care that the mainstream has lost all sense of variety and diversity of sound? There’s no one without the other and while Drake went on to inspire other singers and rappers, 40’s influence on his producer peers  can’t be overlooked. "U Don't Know" captures Jay-Z at his most triumphant, looking out the penthouse window at everything he overcame and the bleak fate escaped coming from Brooklyn's Marcy Projects. "One million, two million, three million, four / In just five years, forty million more," he raps prophetically over a thunderous Just Blaze beat that makes "I'm Not to Blame" by Bobby Byrd sound like the screeching tires of a sports car. It also happens to be one of Jay-Z's absolute best songs to catch live. Kanye West's early career is defined by clever, innovative samples of classic soul songs, but he knew he didn't have to do too much with Curtis Mayfield's "Move On Up," simply slowing it down a touch. It became a perfect stage for West to tell his story, filled with vivid details and the kind of deprecating charm we haven't seen from him much recently.

Organizations and facilities are providing spaces and programs for communities to explore making and learning about hip hop. Many dance studios and colleges now offer lessons in hip hop alongside tap and ballet, as well as KRS-One teaching hip hop lectures at Harvard University. In 2007, the Cornell University Library established a Hip Hop Collection to collect and make accessible the historical artifacts of hip hop culture and to ensure their preservation for future generations.
DaBaby was dropped from a variety of festivals during this time including iHeartRadio Music Festival and Lollapalooza. When Ja Rule wore a rare Burberry bucket hat in his music video for “Always on Time,” many fans of hip-hop discovered the famous tartan pattern for the first time, and the brand has been present in rappers’ outfits ever since. When A$AP Rocky wore and mentioned Dior in more than a few of his music videos, he became a face of Dior Homme shortly thereafter in 2016.

Break-dancers would form dancer circles and save their best dance moves for the break. Kool Herc named the people dancing to his music B-Boys and B-Girls, which was short for Break-Boys and Break-Girls. Overtime, breaking evolved and became a global subculture that transcended into the mainstream.

As music grew throughout the 2000s, the competitive edge took another turn with 50 Cent being the main instigator to inspire rappers to make hit songs. His debut album “Get Rich or Die Tryin” was the gas that lit the fuel and got the ball rolling in terms of rap artists focusing on constructing good structured songs that appealed to the people, along with some form of theatrics to promote it. Artists such as Missy Elliot, Busta Rhymes, and Janet Jackson gave the 2000s Hip Hop era a little more flavor in terms of creating their music videos to be just as enjoyable as their song. Blending the two seemingly opposite genres of country music and hip hop, hick hop music has taken the music world by storm. Known also as kuntry or rural rap, which rose to prominence in the early 2000s, has continued to rise and grow in popularity.
