I was very lucky to have attended this preschool many years ago, and now my three children have had the same privilege. By reflecting on the joy that children share with the class after a family holiday or a class excursion, we sense the enjoyment and the momentous opening for learning. Such occasions have higher opportunities for teachable moments and are great occasions for children to apply responsibility and display good character.

Early Childhood Education Centres consist of a Long Day Care Centre including a kindergarten program and two Sessional Kindergartens. Kindergarten is an educational program provided to children in their year before school. Our educators encourage our students to play an active role in environmental care and sustainable development by providing them with a personalised learning experience. Your baby will enjoy engaging in both our indoor and outdoor nursery environments with planned experiences like songs and story time, followed by morning tea. To BE Me is our exclusive learning program designed for each age & stage of a child’s first years, tailored to their age, interests & strengths. Their pathway is personalised, with every milestone captured to makes the link between play & learning clear & memorable.
This is why we have made plans to make excursions a regular part of the PHPS program with our own dedicated preschool minibus for excursions. We enrolled our daughter here when she was 9 months old, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. It’s wonderful to see her excited at the day care.Thank you to the staff for taking such a good care of her.

Both my children thrived under the care of the dedicated teachers here. Their curriculum fosters crucial social and leadership skills as well as independence and exploratory learning - both my girls developed a genuine love for nature, and developed an impressive knowledge in sustainable living here. Pennant hills memorial war preschool is definitely one of the best preschools in this area. Lovely and experienced teachers made a great educational and fun place for kids.I recommend here to all of my friends. This is the age where friendships really blossom and the children can learn social skills together as they play. They’re learning about taking turns, sharing toys, working together and building resilience. They begin to explore different ways of presenting information to others, including writing, speech and artwork. Together they are all designed to assist each child to fully develop their skills in a happy and supportive environment.
Our childcare centre near West Pennant Hills provides a premium education program perfect for all little explorers. With our engaging learning environment, your child will be prepared to learn throughout their lives. N a long daycare setting, the number of children enrolled is determined by the Regulatory Authority and is dependent on the size of the building and outdoor play space. For family day care services, the ratio is one educator for seven children, and there can be no more than four children who are under school age. The Sydney kindergarten program in long day care centres also runs for 40 weeks each year during school hours, however extended hours of care are provided. In long day care centres the kindergarten children get to enjoy additional experiences outside of the kindergarten program.

Our enrolment process is straightforward and designed to support you every step of the way. My family have been at this centre for over 4 years now and we love it. The outdoor space is beautiful and the kids get to do excursions to the adjacent nature reserve. They are all so wonderful, passionate, caring, friendly and helpful, really happy to go the extra mile to help out their kids and families. There has been very little staff turnover while we've been there too which means the kids get to build great relationships with the educators. The NSW Government offers funding to subsidise the cost of preschool in long day care.

In OWNA, you will receive daily updates and photos and be able to communicate directly with your child’s educators. After sending my son to another local preschool in the Hornsby area for a short time, we changed to PHWMCC and the difference is night and day. This is an amazing place, with incredible educators who make the whole experience amazing for the little ones. My son (1) has settled in beautifully and I feel relaxed knowing he is in the best care. The educators at Kindalin West Pennant Hills use meal and snack time as another educational opportunity for the children.
